Some Recent and Reoccuring activities of Council 10245:
Many St Ann parishioners are familiar with our monthly Pancake Breakfasts (last
Sunday of the month). Here are some of the other activities that our Council 10245
promotes:
1. Scholarships: College scholarships for deserving children of parishioners;
scholarships to pro-life boot camp for teenagers
2. BBQ for Life fund raisers: Donations go towards funding the operational budget of
the White Rose center in Dallas and other pro-life activities in our parish.
3. Pines Camp: In the past few years we have renovated cabins, donated ceiling
fans for cabins; and repaired porches, buildings, and roofs.
4. Cooking breakfast for: Religious Education team (August)
Sisters in Christ ministries (December)
Pictures with Santa Clause
5. Construction and maintenance of a shrine dedicated to Our Lady of Schonestadt:
located in the Northeast section of the parking lot (behind the playground)
6. Sponsorship of our St Ann Boy Scout troop and Cub Scout pack
7. Monthly AIDS dinners: Preparing and delivering dinner meals to patients in a
Dallas AIDS hospice home
8. St Ann Carnival: KofC Corn and Baked Potato booth
9. Missionaries of Charity (Mother Teresa order) home for unwed mothers: projects
to assist the Nuns with re-painting the interior of their home and to lay new pave
stones for the delivery of food to needy families
10. Christian Community Action Holiday Gift Program: Nightly gift/donation pickup
from Grapevine Mills Mall and drop off at CCA (Nov-Dec)
11. Basketball Free throw: sponsor of Coppell annual KofC Basketball Free Throw
tournament at the Coppell YMCA
12. Parish Picnic: Annual Parish Picnic sponsored by the KofC (June)
13. KofC Ushers: Usher team at Saturday Vigil mass
There is a role for Knights with most any schedule or level of commitment.
